We built Glimmerous Mockups for makers, and we know your designs are your livelihood. Here is exactly how we treat them — and everything else you might want to know.
Your artwork & ownership
Do you own or claim any rights to my artwork?
No — never. Your designs belong to you, completely. Uploading artwork to Glimmerous Mockups does not transfer ownership to us. We do not sell your artwork or give it to another customer. We only feature a mockup publicly when its owner explicitly supplies and approves that specific image for sharing; uploading or saving work in the studio does not grant that permission.
Is my artwork sent to AI or used to train AI models?
No. Your uploaded artwork is never sent to any AI service. It is placed onto your mockup inside your own browser, exactly as you made it — pixel for pixel. AI is only used to create the blank garment scene behind your design, never your design itself.
Who can see my uploaded designs?
Your studio uploads and saved mockups are stored privately under your account and are not visible to other users. The home-page examples are separate, owner-approved sample images with placeholder prints. The public gallery does not pull from your private library.
What happens if I delete a design or my account?
Removing a design from your gallery takes it out of your library. If you delete your account, your studio files are erased along with it. We only keep the payment records the law requires — never your artwork.
How mockups are made
What does the AI actually create?
Only the scene: the blank garment, the fabric look, and the styled background. Your artwork is layered on top afterward, untouched — transparent PNGs stay transparent, and your colors are never redrawn or changed.
Are the garment photos real manufacturer images?
No, and we say so honestly. AI scenes are visual approximations of real blank styles (like Comfort Colors 1717 or Gildan 5000), clearly labeled as AI. Where garment colors come from manufacturer lists, they are real, source-checked color names.
Can I add a watermark to my mockups?
Yes. On the Brand page you can turn on a watermark with your logo or text, choose where it sits, and how visible it is — so nobody can take your finished images.
Plans & your account
Is there a free plan?
Yes — the Free plan includes 5 AI scenes every month, no card required. Paid plans (Maker and Boutique) add more monthly scenes for growing shops.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you cancel, you keep your paid access until the end of the month you already paid for, and your saved mockups and downloads stay available.
Is my payment information safe?
Payments are handled by Stripe, a leading secure payment provider. Your card details never touch our servers — they go directly to Stripe.
